Team Transform at the Bath Life Awards 2021

Last week, the Transform Team hit the town as Business Services finalists for the Bath Life Awards 2021! Glammed up and ready to go, it was a wonderful evening to celebrate the wealth of local talent here in Bath and the surrounding area. Congratulations to all this years’ winners – your awards were thoroughly deserved!

It’s been a year like no other. Having to adjust to working from home, to being back in the (in our case, brand-new) office, plus everything else that the world has thrown at us, means that life has been a whirlwind. We relished the opportunity to let our hair down and connect with so many others passionate about our region. This was our first in-person awards ceremony for 18 months, so you can be certain that we made the most of it. We loved greeting old friends and making new ones – we had the joy of sitting with the lovely DKA Architects – and we’re really looking forward to connecting further with everyone else we met on the night.

Sitting there with so many fantastic local businesses really drove home how amazing our area is. From Emma Rose Art’s incredible acceptance speech after being nominated for ten years in a row (!), to seeing local favourites Flow Bar Frome win Best Bar, we realised just how much this corner of the South West has to offer. Especially after this pandemic year (and a half), it’s more important than ever to support our local businesses. Shopping with them and using their services pays the bills of real human beings – the very people we shared Bath Pavilion with last week.

The Bath Life Awards provided the ideal celebration of our area and everyone in it.  Good food, good company, and enough wine to make sure that the Transform Twitter account was loaded with content? Sounds like the perfect night!
